This is my third purchase of this 2.5 Soft Sleeper, 1-king, and 2-queens. I read the description very carefully and did realized it was not the standard memory foam but a new generation type. That was fine with me as I found I disliked all our memory mattresses almost as much as box springs. I have tried other alternatives including air and water beds. I found this while searching for a latex topper. I am glad I did, much cheaper and found it more comfortable, supporting, and cooler than anything else. Including the very expensive Termer-Pedic brand itself. Everyone has different preferences and physical conditions. With the price cheaper than I can buy the no thrills foundation foam for and 100 day trial, I saw no reason to not try it. I did go for the 4" on all and am happy.

I am shocked at the difference this topper has made in the comfort of my bed. It has really made a difference in the way I sleep. Great price too. I went to the local Target store and saw a 2 inch topper for $120. This one is 4 inches for 69$ - WOW!! Fast shipping too.

Of course this isn't memory form. If you know how to read, you'll know that.

I've have a memory foam bed and a memory foam topper and they both suck. Sure, you can push your hands in and the foam springs back, but lay on one and you'll end up with a stiff back. The weight distribution when you lie down doesn't work the same as the pressure in your hand...

This topper IS THE BEST! It's soft and really conforms to your "body" not hand. I bought one for my son's bed and I've just purchased a King size for mine. I slept on my son's bed for one night and had the best night's sleep and didn't wake-up stiff all over.

I can't wait to get the King size. Only one thing, the odor from the topper is strong. I aired mine out for a few days and it's fine now.
